Who is the Data Controller?

The Data Controller processing your personal data is Envigo Innovations, LLC (hereinafter collectively referred to as "MemberPass", "we" or "us" throughout this Cookie Notice).

This Cookie Notice aims to inform the Users about the cookies and other tracking technologies that help MemberPass to achieve the purposes described below. Such technologies allow the Data Controller to access and store information (for example by using a Cookie) or use resources (for example by running a script) on a User’s device as they interact with MemberPass. For ease of reference, such technologies shall be hereinafter collectively referred to as “Cookies”, but the term should not be regarded as excluding similar technologies.

MemberPass uses strictly necessary cookies, which do not require the User’s consent and cannot be disabled. However, some of the Cookies used may require the User's consent. Whenever consent is given, it can be freely withdrawn at any time following the instructions provided in this Cookie Notice.

MemberPass uses Cookies managed directly by the Data Controller (so-called "first-party" Cookies) and Cookies that enable services provided by a third-party (so-called "third-party" Cookies).

The validity and expiration periods of Cookies may vary depending on the lifetime set by the Data Controller or the relevant provider. Some of them expire upon termination of the User’s browsing session. Definitions

Personal Data (or Data)
Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("data subject"); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
Usage Data
Information collected automatically through MemberPass (or third-party services employed in MemberPass),which can include: the IP addresses or domain names of the computers utilized by the Users who use MemberPass, the URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier),the time of the request, the method utilized to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server's answer (successful outcome, error, etc.),the country of origin, the features of the browser and the operating system utilized by the User, the various time details per visit (e.g., the time spent on each page within the Application) and the details about the path followed within the Application with special reference to the sequence of pages visited, and other parameters about the device operating system and/or the User's IT environment.
User
The individual using the MemberPass services.
Data Processor
The natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes Personal Data on behalf of the Controller, as described in this Cookie Notice.
Data Controller
The natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of Personal Data, which in this case is Envigo Innovations, LLC.
Service
The service provided by MemberPass.
Cookie
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on the User’s computer or mobile device when the User visits the website.

What Types of Cookies Do We Use and Why

Strictly Necessary Cookies

MemberPass uses so-called "Strictly Necessary Cookies" to carry out activities that are essential for the operation or delivery of MemberPass’s services. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent and cannot be disabled.

Furthermore, MemberPass processes any payments by credit card, bank transfer or other means via external payment service providers. In general, and unless where otherwise stated, Users are requested to provide their payment details and personal data directly to such payment service providers. MemberPass isn't involved in the collection and processing of such data: instead, it will only receive a notification by the relevant payment service provider as to whether payment has been successfully completed.

MemberPass uses Stripe / PayPal to process payments.

In addition, by registering or authenticating, Users allow MemberPass to identify them and give them access to dedicated services. Third parties may provide registration and authentication services. In this case, MemberPass will be able to access some Data, stored by these third-party services, for registration or identification purposes.

Functional Cookies

MemberPass uses Cookies to enable basic interactions and functionalities, allowing Users to access selected features of the Service and facilitating the User's communication with the Data Controller.

More specifically, MemberPass uses Cookies to provide a personalized user experience by improving the quality of preference management options, and by enabling interaction with external networks and platforms.

The interaction and information obtained through MemberPass are always subject to the User’s privacy settings for each social network. This type of service might still collect traffic data for the pages where the service is installed, even when Users do not use it. It is recommended to log out from the respective services in order to make sure that the processed data on MemberPass isn’t being connected back to the User’s profile.

Analytics Cookies

MemberPass uses Cookies to measure traffic and analyze User behavior with the aim of improving the Service. The services contained in this section enable the Data Controller to monitor and analyze web traffic and can be used to keep track of User behavior.

  • Google Analytics (Google LLC): Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google LLC. Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of MemberPass, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services.
  • User database management: MemberPass also uses a user database management service, which allows the Data Controller to build user profiles by starting from an email address, a personal name, or other information that the User provides to MemberPass, as well as to track User activities through analytics features.

Targeting Cookies

MemberPass uses Cookies to deliver personalized marketing content based on User behavior and to operate, serve and track ads. This type of service allows User Data to be utilized for advertising communication purposes. These communications are displayed in the form of banners and other advertisements on MemberPass, possibly based on User interests.

Some of the services listed below may use Cookies to identify Users or they may use the behavioral retargeting technique, i.e., displaying ads tailored to the User’s interests and behavior, including those detected outside MemberPass. How to Manage Preferences and Provide or Withdraw Consent

Users can manage preferences related to Cookies from directly within their own device settings, for example, by preventing the use or storage of Cookies.

Additionally, whenever the use of Trackers is based on consent, Users can provide or withdraw such consent by setting their preferences within the Cookie Banner or by updating their preferences accordingly via the relevant "Manage Consent Preferences" widget, if available.

It is also possible to delete previously stored Cookies, including those used to remember the User’s initial consent, via the relevant browser or device features. Other Cookies in the browser’s local memory may be cleared by deleting the browsing history.

Consequences of Denying Consent

Users are free to decide whether or not to grant consent (for the non-strictly necessary Cookies). However, please note that Cookies help MemberPass to provide a better experience and advanced functionalities to Users, in line with the purposes outlined in this Cookie Notice. Therefore, in the absence of the User's consent, the Data Controller may be unable to provide related features.
